Start Fencing !!! Update July 2010
EFC operates regular introduction beginners courses throughout the year. We provide all the protective equipment - all you really need is you, a tee shirt, trainers and tracksuit or jogging bottoms. Adult courses Our next adult course starts on Friday 17th September. This standard adult beginners course runs on Fridays over 10 weeks, starting at 8pm. The course costs £95 and this includes club membership, use of club equipment, and a free foil that is yours to keep. The course is suitable for ages 16 and over.By the end of the course participants will be at a standard where they can fence electric foil safely in the club. The course will run for an hour after which participants can stay on to practice until 10pm.
Please use the contact form to register your interest. Junior Courses Our next junior course starts on Friday 10th September. The standard junior beginners courses in run on Fridays over 5 weeks, and costs £35 The course is intended to build a foundation in the sport of fencing. Children will be invited to join the club as full members at the end of the course. This is a great age to learn a sport that can be carried on for the rest of their lives. All kit will be provided (children need only a tee shirt, tracksuit bottoms and trainers). The course is intended for absolute beginners between the ages of 10 to 15 years.
